European pension package encourages connection of national pension tracking systems to ETS
On November 20th, the European Commission presented its long-awaited pension package. The package contains, amongst others, a recommendation encouraging Member States to set up or improve national pension tracking systems – including a future connection to the European Pension Tracking Service (ETS). By making systems compatible with ETS, mobile workers will have one secure place to find, understand, and track all their pensions across Europe. The recommendation promotes collaboration and gradual progress, perfectly matching ETS’s vision of a bottom-up approach, built on trust, strong legal and technical foundations, and shared best practices.
ETS remains at the heart of making pension information clear, personal, and accessible.
