Welcome to the latest ETS Update. In this edition, we recap 2025 including key moments from the ETS Forum on Pension Communications and our joint event during European Retirement Week. Plus, we provide updates from our General Assembly and highlight the latest developments in the European pensions package.
The rollout phase of ETS got underway in April 2024 with the start of our EU co-financed programme, marking another key milestone for the ETS initiative. Members of the ETS association, most of whom are involved in the EU funded programme, took on central roles in moving the project forward. Over the course of the year, the technical infrastructure, needed to connect the French and Dutch tracking services to the ETS network was put in place.
In 2025, the focus shifted to preparing improvements to the FindyourPension portal regarding security, data protection and the API settings as well as to bringing additional partners on board. The year’s stand out moments included the Forum on Pension Communication. This event took place during an intense debate on a possible revision of the regulatory framework for personal pensions. Another highlight were the joint efforts to communicate the topic of pensions in a targeted and understandable manner using diverse formats and channels. The year drew to a close with the ETS Annual General Meeting, at which two new members joined the network: Regos from Croatia and DRV Bund/ZfDR from Germany.
